We are currently living a time of crisis worldwide.
Covid-19 has forced millions of people to go on lockdown and give up entirely their livelihoods to help save lives. We’ve put our lives on hold, our social lives on hold, our ambitions on hold, our dreams on hold…
Not only that, many will also have to deal with unexpected priorities like home schooling, or caring after our elderly and vulnerable neighbours. Important things that take up even more of our time.
But it does not have to be all lost time.
Now more than ever is crucial to remember how important it is to focus on the things that matter most in every area of your life.
To help you get through this lockdown time, here are a three things that are helping me progress with my own growth without leaving home:
- Set 3 to 5 goals you want to achieve during lockdown time. What have you been postponing because you never had enough time? Now is the time to nourish your mind and body.
- Make a weekly plan. What will you be focusing your energy every day of the week? Focus on one or two priorities every week and think of the activities you need to do to make them happen.
- You may need to be creative if you have extra responsibilities during this time. Remember, if there is a will, there is a way. How can you make it work?
- Take advantage of the remote working. You probably don’t have to commute anymore, so you could try to use your “commute time” and spend it on your personal life projects. You’ll be surprised how far an hour a day can take you.
That’s all! I challenge you to take out your journal TODAY, write down a couple of things you’ve never had time to do and get started NOW.
